ECG247 Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)

Yes. A cardiologist review of your ECG247 test results can be requested directly via the app. Our experienced heart specialists carefully assess your recordings, and the completed report will be available securely within the app.

Important: The review only covers the ECG247 test results. Any additional examinations, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations must be obtained from your personal physician.

2. Can I record my ECG at any time?
Yes. You can capture a heart rhythm recording at any moment by briefly pressing the button located in the center of the sensor. This feature allows you to document specific symptoms or events for more detailed analysis.

3. Can the battery be charged or replaced?
No. The ECG247 electrode patch and battery are single-use. However, the battery can be safely removed from the patch and recycled according to local electronic waste guidelines.

4. Can the sensor be re-used?

Yes. The ECG247 sensor is designed for multiple uses. Proper care ensures long-term functionality. When the electrode patch wears out, a replacement patch can be ordered from ECG247 without replacing the entire sensor.

5. Can I shower while wearing the sensor?
Yes. You may shower with the sensor in place. Do not immerse it in a bath or expose it to prolonged water submersion, as this could affect its performance.

6. Can ECG247 be used with a pacemaker or defibrillator?
Yes, ECG247 is compatible with pacemakers and defibrillators. However, in many cases, this is not necessary, as these devices already continuously monitor heart rhythm. Your cardiologist can advise if additional monitoring is beneficial.

7. How long does continuous monitoring last?
ECG247 is designed for up to 7 days of continuous monitoring, providing a comprehensive overview of your heart rhythm, including periods of rest and activity.

8. Is my data secure?
Yes. All ECG recordings are encrypted and stored securely in the cloud, accessible only to you and authorized healthcare professionals. Patient privacy and data security are a top priority.

9. What types of heart rhythm disorders can ECG247 detect?
ECG247 automatically identifies and classifies common arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation, bradycardia, tachycardia, and other rhythm disturbances. All detections should be reviewed by a qualified physician before making any treatment decisions.

10. Can I use ECG247 for preventive monitoring?
Yes. ECG247 is suitable for routine heart monitoring, early detection of rhythm irregularities, or tracking heart health after procedures, medication adjustments, or lifestyle changes.

11. Who can use ECG247?
ECG247 is designed for adults of all ages. Your doctor can advise on suitability if you have a pre-existing condition, implantable devices, or other specific medical considerations.
